Hello, My name is Medina and I was born and raised here in Nelson. I am currently a third-year student at the University of Victoria completing my bachelor’s degree in Child and Youth Care. I have a passion for children and believe that positive experiences in the early years have a lasting impact on the lifespan. My approach is that of a strengths-based perspective. I believe we all have strengths and from this lens we can value and bring out the best in all of us. I am eager to work with children of all ages while completing my degree which is what has brought me to the School House.
