Hello! My name is Kelsey, and I was born and raised in Nelson, B.C. I obtained my ECCE in 2015/ IT in May of this year and I am continuing my education through UVic to complete a bachelor’s degree in child and youth care. I have worked in childcare professionally for seven years in many roles, capacities, and environments. I started my career as an infant and toddler educator in the Lynx program with the School House, so I couldn’t be happier to return and meet all of our new families and staff.  Apart from my passion for caring for children and families, I live an active lifestyle engaging in many sports (solo and team based). I can often be found outside exploring nature hiking, biking, skiing, and more with my fiancé, Byron and my two dogs, Penny and Tucker.
